INTRODUCTION: A cheesy poem. Yet another of my "There's always hope!" attempts, which I completely do not believe now, and likely didn't believe even back then. Compare to "The Poem Of Horus." Written on a torn-out piece of notebook paper. Based on my penmanship I would tentatively date it back to high school (1991-95), though it could be from college (1995-97).
When clouds cover the sun
And the light descends to gray
And you feel that you're just one, remember--
A friend is not far away.
When clouds cover the moon
And the darkness fills the sky
And you feel it must end soon, remember--
With hope you will get by.
When clouds cover the stars
And the wind begins to moan
Just break this sorrow's bars, and remember--
You are not alone.
