Damien shook his head abruptly and turned to his friend Ozzy Lewis, who sat beside him, looking at him as if he were either a ditz or a 3-yr-old child trying to learn algebra. [Note--starting with "sat beside him," the rest of the text is scribbled in in pencil--maybe to have saved printing just a line or so on a new page. That's how I have it written, "3-yr-old." I suspect I was merely abbreviating "three-year-old" to save time writing it out since I don't write my stories in rough format like that.] "Yeah, I'm here," he said in an annoyed voice.
