The Outback Adventure Front

INTRODUCTION: The complete existing text of The Outback Adventure, a King Kuts-related story I began in elementary school, I believe. Written in a composition book, I remember my friend Mya and myself sniggering over this particular story, for it was to feature what was back then, to me, an "adult" scene--namely, the main character, Benji Taylor, getting a kiss from new girlfriend, Darlene. That was it. A kiss. Pretty tame. But Mya and I thought it was a pretty big affair. What can I say, we were like twelve. Anyway. All I recall of the plot was Benji and the other King Kuts Egyptian characters (yes, "Benji Taylor" is supposed to be ancient Egyptian!) heading to Australia and staying at an inn, where he would meet Darlene. I'm sure there's more to it, but I'm finding it out as I type it up, because it's cool to read your own writing and not even have a clue when or why you wrote it. Like having amnesia or something.

Based on the drawing style and writing quality, and judging by the fact that Mya and I had great fun over it, I would place the year of writing somewhere around 1988-89 (late elementary school/early junior high), though I can't be positive.
