Untitled Kristeva/DID Story, AKA Missing Person [Story]

Original intro from 5/25/2016:

Actually did some writing tonight. :O Won't necessarily lead anywhere, I tend to work in fits and starts. Just felt like getting part of an ongoing scenario out of my head.

The following entries are actually part of a much bigger, much more convoluted storyline of mine which spans decades, and in fact this scene takes place some time in the past. (By now the Det. Kristeva in this piece is remarried, has a partner, and oh yeah, has discovered he has multiple personalities. Which tie in with what he's being asked to investigate in this scene. But if I explained that I'd be here forever.)

Obviously this is very unfinished. The asterisked parts are unknown dates and terms that need checking out. There might even be typos. The adverbs though, those are intentional; I've always overdone it with adverbs.

I don't mind comments, but I'm not looking for criticism on how to write it better. ... I may end up deleting [this] later. Just felt like sharing part of the writing process while I have the guts. I typed the following entries up in the past couple of hours.

From an updated intro from Reddit (so I can't give it an exact date, but probably late 2017/early 2018):

My latest is a WIP which I work on very sporadically...it's unplotted (most of my work is), and is actually a sort of amalgamation of an intended series of novels, so the writing of it gets kind of complicated and I go through droughts at times...because I'm basically stringing together an unplotteded story (novel--serial?) from portions of other unplotted stories. Confusing. :/

Anyway, that particular story is psychological drama about a police detective with multiple personalities, and yep, now you see another reason I don't try getting published. I can't summarize my stories without cringing inside at how dumb they all sound.

I also write fantasy/mythology, and graphic adult material, though of course, no way in hell would the latter end up here. I have about four "main" storylines which usually don't intersect and where almost all of my writing takes place, and various spinoff storylines. This WIP is part of a spinoff series.

Disclaimers & content/rating information:

This particular story (currently untitled) is actually part of a much bigger, much more convoluted storyline of mine which spans decades, and in fact the beginning takes place some time in the past (roughly between 1996-2000, I believe). This is/was meant to be parts from a series of novels, not just one story. As such, there will be time jumps and plot shifts, and since I'm writing this as I go along, I can't guarantee it'll ever be finished or will go anywhere. Feel free to ask for clarification/details on the story/characters or even for plot spoilers if you wish, in case that part of the story never gets written. See [above intro] for more info if you want.

Genre is psychological drama/crime drama. PG-13/R. Adult language and dialogue, violence, drug references, suicide references, sexual references (but no actual sexual content in this version), child abuse references, references to animal cruelty, occult themes.

I'm no expert on what I'm writing about, and I do take some liberties (especially with the story location), so there are likely to be inaccuracies. Unless I ask for advice on specific things in the comments, please chalk most of these up to artistic license. Asterisks indicate info that hasn't been filled in yet or needs to be checked.

The "Satanism" referred to in this story is in reference to a Satanic cult, not to Satanism as a legitimate religion.

GLBT themes in case that bothers anyone.
